Traditional agricultural films generally use recycled PO or PP plastics, which have a great impact on the embroidery process and embroidery products. There are five specific points:

1. Agricultural film has double-sided light patterns, which cannot increase the resistance between the fabric and the machine, and cannot prevent the fabric from sliding and shifting, thus failing to serve the purpose of fabric positioning;

2. Hot pressing (commonly known as "melting point") has a high temperature, making it difficult to heat the film and causing a foul odor. It has a great impact on the color and finish of fabrics and embroidery threads that are not resistant to high temperatures;

3. There are many impurities in agricultural film, which is not environmentally friendly and cannot be directly needle embroidered;

4. No embossing has no cushioning effect on the fabric;

5. Generally containing formaldehyde, not suitable for children's clothing and export embroidery products.

Due to the five fatal drawbacks of agricultural film, it can reduce the yield and quality of embroidery products, affect the lifespan of embroidery machines, and greatly increase production costs. Therefore, it is not recommended to use agricultural film as a substitute for embroidery specific hot melt film.
