drying process

Natural drying: Place the moisture absorbing PVA water-soluble film in a well ventilated and dry environment to allow it to dry naturally. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent deformation or damage to the film.

Heating and drying: Low temperature ovens or hair dryers can be used for heating and drying. The temperature should not be too high, generally controlled below 40 ℃ to prevent deformation or melting of the film.

During the heating process, it is important to maintain appropriate distance and uniform heating to prevent local overheating.

moisture absorption treatment

Desiccant treatment: Place the moisture absorbing PVA water-soluble film together with the desiccant in a sealed container, and the desiccant can absorb the moisture in the film.Common desiccants include silica gel, calcium chloride, etc.

Dehumidification equipment treatment: Dehumidifiers and other equipment can be used to dehumidify the environment where PVA water-soluble films are stored, reducing environmental humidity and preventing further moisture absorption of the films.

Other precautions

Avoid moisture absorption again: After processing the moisture absorbing PVA water-soluble film, it should be stored in a dry and cool environment to avoid moisture absorption again.Sealed bags or containers can be used for packaging to prevent moisture from entering.

Check the performance of the film: After processing the moisture absorbing PVA water-soluble film, it is necessary to check whether the performance of the film is affected, such as transparency, flexibility, solubility, etc. If the performance is significantly affected, it may be necessary to replace the film.
